In addition to solar panels and a storage system, a farmer has installed fast charging points for electric cars on his farm. The storage caps the load peaks during charging and secures the grid connection.

Christian Reichinger has been running his farm in Katsdorf in Upper Austria for many years. In the meantime, he has switched to self-sufficiency with solar power. To do this, he had solar modules installed on the roofs of his buildings with an output of a whopping 140 kilowatts.
