HYDROGEN/ FUEL
A fuel cell power plant with integrated battery storage powers a mobile hydrogen filling station for Shell. Together with Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH, a German expert in zero-emission hydrogen fuel cells, we have developed a revolutionary system that combines fuel cell and battery storage technologies. The HyShelter 240 system supplies 100% green energy with 0% CO2 emissions!

The energy supply for the off-grid hydrogen refueling unit for Shell New Energies is based on a containerized hydrogen fuel power plant from Proton Motor and the integrated xelectrix energy storage system with a peak output of 240 kW. The energy storage system sets up an island grid and supplies the changing power requirements of the three-phase consumers with an extremely fast response time.

The hybrid system HyShelter 240 will enable the replacement of diesel generators – an increasingly important aspect regarding climate protection. The unit is designed as an island system so that high-performance energy can be provided far away from the public power grid.

The success of the energy transition relies on zero-emission applications. We have them. That’s why we at Proton Motor and xelectrix Power are extremely proud of the successful implementation of this lighthouse project.
